Dr. Paul Hanks serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of the company. He has over fifteen years experience in dental and orthodontic private practice prior to Portfolio Development Services. During his extensive dental career he has not only worked in Teaching Hospitals in the disciplines of Maxillofacial Surgery and Pediatric Dentistry, but additionally, he was a Specialist Orthodontist in Private Practice for 6 years. He received the Degree of Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1992 from the University of Wales College of Medicine, and in 1995 successfully completed the Master of Science Degree in Pediatric Dentistry. After studying in Edinburgh, Scotland he received a Diploma in Fellowship of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in 1996. In 1999, Paul completed the Master of Science Degree in Orthodontics, which was followed by the and Diploma of Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of London. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the World Federation of Orthodontists and the British Orthodontic Association.
Over 10 years ago, he started investing in real estate. Very quickly his knowledge and expertise was used to encourage and facilitate fellow clinicians in taking full advantage of the security and returns available in successful real estate investing.
After meeting his wife, an Orthodontic Specialist in Seattle, Washington, he decided to bring his experience to the US and developed a close relationship with Paul Shultheis, President of Real Property Investment Services – a real estate company of over 30 years in Arizona, with a history over $200 million of real estate transactions. With the experience of Mr Schultheis, who remains on the Advisory Board, PDS was developed to offer clinicians and fellow busy professionals not only ‘armchair’ experience to investing, but provide a real estate company that was respected, trusted and that understood their needs.
